This listing is for an antique German (I believe) bisque head and composite body doll. The baby doll is 9 inches long. This girl baby doll’s head is made of bisque. It is in excellent condition with beautiful coloring. Marking on back is an H with a circle around it. She has painted blonde hair and brown eyes with painted lashes. Eyes do not open and close. The doll’s body shows wear and cracking. See photos. She is wearing a handmade yellow and floral dress with a gold initial pin... on front of dress. It ties in the back and has short sleeves. Under the dress is a handmade white cotton slip and a white diaper with two small gold safety pins. Darling crocheted booties with crochet ties are on her feet.
This was part of an estate sale. Not sure about her origins, but she is a sweet baby doll.
