A very pretty soft blue & white transfer platter - from Ridgway pottery in England. This dates 1891-1920. This piece, in addition to transferware lids and platter inserts, have come out of the cabinets and are now enjoyed daily as beautiful antique wall art. This is a large platter and would be a superb focal piece to any blue & white transferware collection. Designers and decorators welcome!
Measures in inches: 17.25 long x 14.5 wide
Condition: Very clean. U...se marks. No crazing, cracks, breaks or repairs. A tiny - 1/16" - chip at top outer rim edge, likely where it was clamped in a plate hanger. Near complete gold gilt loss on rim.
