Mid-20th century chandelier - an original model "Ovali" by Gaetano Sciolari, Italy 1960s - FRAME ONLY.
Please note this piece has no wiring, no hanging chain or ceiling canopy, and no glass insert/s droplets. Selling for spares or restoration - with a bit of work you could make a nice light.
- Frame in fair vintage condition: nice patina to the metal (see close-ups for colour) with some losses to the finish, usually said to be silver plate, and some minor distort...ion to the shape; all six covers are in place for the bulb-holders. - Bulbs: set up is 6 x small-base bulb-holders which should be replaced with new- Wiring:original wiring is rotten and has been cut for safety; we advise any rewiring is done by a competent electrician who is used to this sort of work; they should also be able to help improve the shape of the frame, and install a hanging chain etc.
The last image shows an example of a similar light, complete with glass. You don't have to add the glass to make a pretty chandelier, but if you wish to add droplets, you could vary the styles as you choose to suit the weight and design of the light.
