Vintage 1960's Ideal Thumbelina Indian Doll Toddler in original outfit. She measures about 10"This baby was really dirty when I found her and she had some kind of grease on her face and arms. I hand washed the clothes, so they are not "dirty", but they still show stains and dinginess that are permanent. Similarly, I got the "active" grease off of her face and hand, but it left stain spots down the left side of her face. With a little side swipe trickery with the... comb, her hair can sufficiently cover this staining as seen in photos, but it is there and not going to be wiped off. Also, her body has dirt and stain areas that cannot be washed for fear of ruining her insides. See all photos. I spent a lot of time cleaning her and I still feel like more detailing is possible. She is certainly not a perfect specimen, but she will display tolerably at this time. Now, for the good news, her pull string works. It is slightly sticky on the initial pull, but when grasped firmly by the body with a little tug, it pulls out and her head and legs move properly. This doll originally came with a rocking horse that she could move with the movements of her body. Rocking horse is not included.
