One of the pleasures of collecting half dolls isthe variety of the half dolls made. Another is thecreativity of the women who dressed them.This particular half doll is dressed and has beenplaced on the top of a brush. She is holding a bouquetof flowers and has a typical 1920/30 haircut. She is marked Germany on the back. She measures just under10 inches including her brush. The porcelain portion alonemeasures about 3 1/2 inches in height. There ...is a littlebump on the back of her elbow - I only noticed it when Isaw the photo! Just a little bump but not a chip - it is original to the piece. This young lady has a nice expression on her face. Thedoll could use a little cleaning but will leave that up tothe buyer. A nice addition to any doll or half doll collection.
