For sale is this stunning and very rarer Eterna Chronograph 154FTP, dating from 1969. The movement is an Eterna 1491, which is a rebadged legendary Valjoux 72, as issued in the Rolex Daytonas of the era. It has a beautiful dial, and an unusual and excellent red bezel, and the overall effect is stunning.The watch is generally in an excellent condition, with nice fat sharp lugs and case in great original condition. All hands, p...ushers, crown and dial are of course original, and the lume paint has aged evenly and to a nice colour on the dial and hands. There is an engraving on the bak, at a guess I would say it is the previous owners postcode, . This could be polished off if you wanted. The watch was serviced, and I will provide details. Although serviced, I cannot guarantee it is water proof, but as it is a vintage watch, I suggest you do not go swimming or showering with it on. The watch comes on a worn soft tan leather Breitling strap, I will also include a new unworn tan leather NATO strap or if you prefer either a new tan or black strap. The watch will be sent in a nice wooden presentation box/An extremely reluctant sale, I'm selling to make space in my collection, and help fund a recent house move. Thanks to everyone who has messaged me and apologies if I haven't been able to reply individually...To answer some fo the questions: - The strap should say "soft tan leather brown strap" and not Breitling - that was a weird spell check correction!- The watch measures 41mm across - it is a large chunky watch! Lug width is 20mm- Thanks for the offers, there was a buy-it-now, but it has disappeared as bids were put on. As the auction has started, I will let it continue to be fair to everyone- If you are able to pay cash on collection, then I'd be happy to give you a small discount on the final price
