Franciscan Apple 5 1/2" Hexagonal Tea Canister and Lid (Lid damaged)Offering for sale today is a rare and hard to find piece from the "Franciscan Apple" earthenware line - the"Tea Canister with Lid." It measures 5 1/2" tall (with the lid) and features bright colors on a cream ground with a high gloss glaze. The canister is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks or crazing, however there is some repaired damage to the underside of the lid which is mostly noticeable from i...nside. A couple of manufacturing skips inside neck, one of them glazed over. The canister without the lid sells for $450+ on other replacement sites and as much as $650 when perfect and complete.
