Hard to find piece. Original, authentic Adams Glass Palace pattern. The pattern that started the whole "Moon & Star" collectible glass craze. Frosted accents, made by grinding, not acid etching, are present in both the base and lid. The finial has a moderate chip, and there are many chips around the rim of the lid, which is very common for original butter dishes in this pattern due to how the base and lid fit together.
