Pacific Express Co., San Francisco, Jul 18, complete strike of blue circular date stamp (PAC-100) canceling on 1853, 3¢ Nesbitt entire to Pacific Ord in Los Angeles, Cal., with matching blue defunct Adams "Paid" in oval handstamp used as frank, 1855 docketing at left, Very Fine, with less than ten examples of this handstamp are recorded.
