Up for sale a stunning figurine "BULLDOG" from the series "STORA ZOO". Designed by the famous Lisa Larson in 1959 and in production 1960 - 1968. There is none made after 1968. The bulldog is made by chamotte stoneware with glossy glaze. Every bulldogs are hand decorate and all differ a little. Lisa Larson is a well-knownSwedish ceramic designer. She was born in 1931 and after education she startedher career at Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory in 1953. Lisa Larson has createdcla...ssic shapes for the ceramic industry since then. Lisa Larson's humoroussculptures and well-designed pieces were way ahead of their time and they areas relevant even today. Since 1980 she worked as a freelance designer andsculptural artist. Today she is 89 years old and she is still creating new figures at Gustavsberg. The BULLDOG is in excellent condition with no damages or flaws. Just perfect !
