This rare item was crafted on the family loom by a Tu...rkish nomad girl in Aydin -Afyon province where we always used to dye yarn with simple , natural dyes :This part of Turkey is being always remote area and surrounded by several large lakes , rivers and Mountains ;this might be one of the reason its textiles and rugs were unknown to the Western Markets .
This wonderful item displays traditional patterns - central medallion , simple and naive I am sure you will be thrilled by its muted natural dyes and joyful colors. I hope This will be be your first folk-art from the western part of Turkey .
