VTG Mid Century Modern török ZSOLNAY ceramic Vase 1960s. The vase is an excellent super clean condition with no chips or cracks and measures 16” tall. The base is 4.5” in diameter. There as a small scratch to paint as shown in photo."János Török (1932-1996) was the essential porcelain designer in post-war Hungary. In 1956 he started to work as a designer at the legendary Zsolnay Porcelain Manufactory in Pécs. In a sense, Török created the face of the Hungarian mid-century m...odernism. His modernist figurines, vases, and coffee sets defined the international popularity of Zsolnay porcelain during the 1960s and 1970s. The vase "Dance" is a typical sample of Török's design of the early 1960s."
