ROSEVILLE POTTERY, MATT GREEN ARTS & CRAFTS HANGING PLANTER W HARDWARE
Item History & Price
The planter has a shape that is similar to an old top toy or hanging conical basket. This form has ...3 looped handles with strapping running through the middle. This strapping starts at the slightly raised top lip and goes through the center of the hanging loops and connects to the bottom top conical shaped bottom. This is all set against a deep beautiful matt green glaze. The hanging planter is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The piece is not signed but it is a well documented form from Roseville Pottery. It is known as shape number 3645-5" and can me referenced in the book "Roseville in All Its Splendor" page 219 top left. This is a quality piece of Roseville art pottery. This is one of the cleanest, crisp examples I have ever owned in this pattern. Those of you who collect this pattern and want an excellent example both in form and glaze, need not look any further. It would look outstanding in any Arts & Crafts, Mission style home. This hanging planter was made circa 1910. PLEASE READ BELOWI want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of this year 2020. I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the merchandise unless it is paid for. They are also now charging all sellers a commission of 11.5% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.5%. This is an increase of 8.6% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.5% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges. If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
