This little lady has been married to a brand new French muslin body and antique arms and legs, after her original body ended up being much too dirty and smelly to be salvageable. A quick scrub of her beautiful head and she was clean and sweet smelling again, and quite a chunky little girl of 20 inches. I had just gotten this lovely dress that seemed made for her. First off, she has plain cotton ivory pantalettes, trimmed with tiny satin cranberry ribbon bows on the bottom of each leg. ...Her dress is a matching ivory brocade with an empire waist and cap sleeves. The entire dress is frosted with a double row of these tiny lace flowers along all its edges. There is a scoop lace net collar trimmed with this flower lace. To the right side, a tiny poufe of the flowered lace has been gathered into a circle, and accented with the same kind of time cranberry ribbon bow. She would just make the perfect companion to take with you to Valentine's Day tea. Aren't you tempted?
