Gorgeous antique (likely late 19th century) French tiara worn by Britney Spears while promoting her 2009 Circus tour.
The tiara was rented by Britney's costumer/stylist from Golyester specifically for this photo shoot/promo tour as shown above.
The tiara is done in a guilded brass set with sparkling glass stones. It is in excellent condition overall with no missing stones. There is one of the clear stones that looks to be a replacement--it is a slightly different cut ...than the others. There are a few small spots of verdigris (most notably right under the star) and the 'band' of the tiara is not an absolute perfect circle as it is slightly flexible.
The tiara is adjustable, at present it measures 22.25 inches around the inside. From the base to the tip of the star is three inches.
