A rare, vintage pair of WWI binoculars. They are marked "Carl Zeiss Jena", "X 1916", "K", and "Feldglas 08". Overall these glasses are in very good condition considering what it went through on the field of battle during the Great War. The anti-slip coating is to my eyes a cross between field gray and a dark olive color, and for the most part it's fairly complete (see photos). One field gray eyecup has a chip missing. There is no strap or case.The glasses measure 4-1/2" L X 4-5/8..." W. Refer to the photos for more details as they are part of the description. The previous owner of these glasses was a veteran of WW1 who fought in France; he brought them home from the battlefield.
