Here is a stunning and rare antique R.S.Prussian 1890's "Water Lilies and Medallions" cake plate from San Francisco Estate. Made by R.S.Prussia. Circa 1890's. It is truly exquisite! just can't capture the true beauty with the camera. This wonderful plate has beautiful water lilies painted in the center with water below and clouds above in the background. There are six (6) miniature lily paintings on medallions which line the border along with ruffled edge.... Also, there are two slits for handles across from each on the border. The overall measurement is 11-1/2" wide and 1-1/2" deep. This stunning plate is made of a porcelain material with a satin and glossy finish. The colors are white, pink, blue, green, yellow, gray, and gold. This elegant plate is signed "R.S.Prussia" in red with green wreath. (see picture). This mark was used from 1894 to 1917. The condition is amazingly very good or near excellent. There are no chips, breaks, or repairs. It looks stunning. The estimated value was $225.00 according to the estate. Our reserve is only $65.00. This fabulous cake plate came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage. It has a great look - very elegant and unique. Pictures don't do it justice.
