EXQUISITE ART DECO URANIUM GREEN GLASS BOWLPresenting an exceptional Art Deco period pressed glass posy bowl produced by the quality English makers, Bagley.
This striking piece is a part of the "Equinox" range and has been pr...oduced in a stunning radiant uranium green coloured glass which glows with a magnificent intensity under a UV blacklight.This beautifully designed piece features radiating pressed ribbing which sweeps around the outer side of the curved bowl, spectacularly reflecting light throughout the vibrantly coloured glass. Each pressed ribbon culminates in a beautifully curved drip to the elegantly waved overturned rim. The flowing waved ribbon ribbing, combined with the dripping rim, adds a fabulous sense of organic movement to the solid form.
The radiant green colour glows with an electric intensity as it reflects off the ribbing and thick edges adding a magnificent richness and vibrancy even in natural light!
This stylish piece stands proudly atop a square shaped foot which beautifully elevates the perfectly balanced form.
This elegant piece perfectly encapsulated all of the style and elegance of the Art Deco period. A beautifully designed example crafted in glowing uranium green glass.This piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is one straw mark within the inner base, a standard part of the manufacturing process but mentioned for complete accuracy. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.This impressive piece stands approx 75mms tall and measures 160mms in diameter.Raised lettering moulded into the base reads "Made in England".This exceptional piece would make be a fabulous addition to any vintage Uranium green glass, Bagley or Art Deco glass collection
