Unmailed late 1940s AUTOGRAPHED in pencil by BOB HOPE on backside. Captioned on front: "I am at Tahoe Village...Where are You? The sign Tahoe Village readable on front entrance awning. Captioned on back: Tahoe Village on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, Nevada, Highway 50. No other written messages other than autograph. I matched this signature on the internet with other Bob Hope signatures and this matches exactly. It makes sense that Bob Hope could have definitely been in the Taho...e region in the late 1940s either entertaining or leisure. I can image a guest at Tahoe Village spotted him and asked for a personalized autograph. There's also value in the fact that Tahoe Village no longer exists. Card excellent with no damage, no creases, tears, stains, odor. Mailed with cardboard backing.
