Lovely Victorian needlework needle work sampler sewn by Helen Gibson, aged 13 years, dated 1862Starts with the alphabet and follows with  a panel for the name and age with more alphabet below and a biblical quoteThe sampler measures 12" x 11"The frame is relatively modern.Good condition for it's age.The stitches have faded and there is light discolouration to the backing but generally in great shape for it's age.
