Two vintage, possibly antique collectable treen boxes.
Marquetry box - 4¼ x 3" x 1½"
I assume this box is for playing cards or cigarettes, perhaps. It has an oriental marquetry picture on the top, geometric pattern on the sides, and a flower picture on the base.
Mauchline Ware-type box 3¾ x 2 x 1¾"
I don't know if this is a genuine Mauchline Ware trinket box, but it is of that ilk. It has a black enamel-type coating and a flower ring with a picture of Ryde... Pier in the centre. There is some crazing to the transfer on the lid.
Both boxes have signs of wear and use, but generally are in good condition.
