This 40mm stainless steel Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date is a 16800 model. It has a stainless steel time-lapse bezel; black dial with white markers, and a stainless steel Oyster bracelet.
This particular Rolex Submariner Date was purchased in 1987 as the result of the settlement of the Pennzoil-Texaco lawsuit.
This type of Rolex is no longer being manufactured and is vintage. It was brought to the Rolex Service Center in Dallas, TX and purchased an insurance appraisal.
