The Roamer Stingray Chrono is a three-register chronograph, powered by the famous Valjoux 72 in its 726 configuration. This movement runs great. The Stingray utilizes a modular case with a separate body and bezel for water tightness (i.e., no removable back).
The Stingray case is approximately 37mm x 43mm, excluding the signed Roamer crown. The bezel is brushed stainless steel with polished sides, in good condition. Please note all the age-related scuff marks and some dings in the back from attempts to open the case :( The back features an embossed stingray and Roamer logo -- very clearly visible!
The original dial and hands are in very good condition, showing uniform patina throughout with small bits if lume loss on hands. The original Plexiglas crystal is in good condition, with a few minor scratches showing when magnified and in good light. The dial has no scratches--it's only the plexiglass that has scratches in photos.
I think the bracelet may be original but am not sure. It is also not very big--will fit medium wrist or smaller. You may want to keep this bracelet for historical reasons, but if you intend to wear this watch, I'd suggest replacing with a modern NATO strap.
