Interesting vintage / antique Cello end Spike with 2 part angle adjusting spike,
This is a nice old end spike, with a R.wood bush tapering from 20mm down to 17mm, brass fittings, and a nicely engineered adjustable spike with a length of 330mm up to 440mm.. The main spike is hollow, so the fine adjustment tip spike can slide out for increased length, or taken out completely and re-inserted at an angle, to allow a more vertical spike whilst the cello reclines at an angle toward...s the body.
