Up for sale I have this very striking and freshly refurbished 1940s era Mathey Tissot chronograph with manual wind Valjoux 72 three register 17jewel movement. The watch is in excellent condition with the expected patina for a watch or this era and some light marks to the full stainless case with stainless steel back. It has gorgeous original Mathey Tissot signed dial and relumed original hands. The dial has some minor staining and fading but presents handsomely. The pushers are all ori...ginal and a fresh armored German crystal was installed. The watch movement was fully disassembled, cleaned and oiled within the past month and is currently running very reliably, telling good time (within a few seconds per day) and all chrono functions work perfectly and crisply. It should give many more years of reliable timekeeping. The new stainless bracelet has only been worn a couple times and is full length. If you have any questions about this watch please let me know! Movements are disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned with Zenith solutions, reassembled and lubed with Moebius oils. Cases are utrasonically cleaned and new crystals are fitted. However please note that I am not a certified watchmaker and while the watch may be running perfectly at the time of sale, mechanical watches are fragile and require maintenance I cannot offer any warranty on their functioning beyond delivery. Many closeup photos, including Timegrapher readings are provided so that buyers can use their judgement of the physical and running condition. Therefore please note returns will only be accepted if the watch arrives non-working or not as described. Returns will not be accepted if the watch is tampered with in any way, and partial refunds will not be given.
