GENUINE ANTIQUE 8 DAY SWINGER MYSTERY CLOCK - JUNGHANS with DIANA STATUE restore ... Click images to enlarge Description Junghans produced these mystery clocks from around 1910-30 with the earlier clocks unmarked like this one. Offered in good working order and original condition with some wear/darkening to the original finish and a small defect to the porcelain dial at 8.
There are many reproductions of this model of clock on the market at the moment so here are some of the more obvious differences which mark this clock out as genuine. Firstly this is an 8 day clock - the repros are more usually of 3 or 5 days duration. Secondly the position of the knobs on the back of the mechanism which run in a vertical line down the back - the repros have them either side of the backplate. Also the statue is mounted on a WOODEN base.
