If you are looking you probably know all about these watches. I will add some small specifics.
Up for sale is the highly collected stunning "Revue Thommen Airspeed' full Automatic Titanium Airforce Pilots Watch.
A absolutely stunning legendary peice of Swiss Craftsmanship.
This one is the Original Airspeed, ...1st Edition fully designed and hand made by Revue Thommen from late 90's to 2004, and by far the best they have ever made. Hence the amount you ever see for sale. A Highly collectable watch, that very rarely come up for sale.
The watch has a Reverse Direction, and reverse numbered bezel that is used as a countdown timer for pilot use. I.e " the bezel rotates the other way to divers watches and the like" and by setting the triangle of the bezel to a specific time, the minute hand can then be used to countdown time. A fantastic invention and aptly named the "Pilots Bezel" by Revue Thommen.
Super flat Sapphire Crystal that is anti reflection coated both in and out "makes the dial look absolutely crystal clear". In fact in some light you would sometimes think there is no crystal in there.
Revue Thommen Signature screw down crown for added water protection.
660ft Water Resistance.
The all important "T Swiss Made T" stamp at the bottom of the dial, showing its the much collected vintage early model.
Precision time keeping, by the modified and adjusted Revue Thommen Signature 25 Jewel Valjoux 7750 movement.
The watch is in a excellent used condition, and everything works perfect, and exactly as it should.
The Day/Date flicks over beautiful, and the watch has the most fantastic beat when placed to your ear, amplified through the titanium body. Also a lovely strong 42 hour power reserve from the valjoux to keep the watch fully on time, when you are not wearing it.
To use the chronograph one crisp click on the top pusher and the chronograph starts running, another crisp click to stop, then a crisp click of the bottom pusher and watch instantly as the Flyback of the Chronograph resets exactly. These watches are probably the most balanced most comfortable and weighted Valjoux 7750 calibre watches you will ever wear. Its so comfortable you will forget your wearing it, that is until someone says "WOW" thats an absolutely stunning watch.
A real must for any watch collector.
