DescriptionLovely hand painted courting couple decorated plate with pierced and gilded boarders.Made in the 19th Century, by Meissen porcelain from Germany.Marked with the maker's cobalt blue backstamp (reverse photographed - there are no strikes through the backstamp).Some very light gilt wear to the rim, commensurate with age. Otherwise, it is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration.The plate measures approximately 9¾" in diameter. ...Service
