Here's a very nice 1935 Men's Elgin Wrist Watch with a Fancy Case for repair.I'm not a watch expert but will describe it the best I can.The Elgin serial number site says this is a 1935 Grade 484 Model 1 Movement.The serial number is 35300853.Has a very fancy case.The back of case says 10K R.G.P. which is rolled gold plate.Also marked 10K RGP on front bezel between lug one one side edge.Case measures 21mm wide from left to right not measuring crown.Measures 25mm long not measuring lugs....With lugs it measures 36mm long.Case looks to be in very nice condition.Has some small scratches but looks really nice.Looking with a magnifying loupe I see no obvious wear spots.Looks to have all the gold plating with no wear that I can see.Case is a little dirty but will clean up easily.I did not clean watch at all.The crystal is also a bit fancy.It has 3 different angles or edges.Crystal has some small scratches and also looks to have a small crack on upper third of crystal Please see pictures.Even with the crack still looks pretty good on the watch.Back of case has some small scratches but still looks nice.The dial looks extremely nice.There is some small marks near edges but still looks very nice.Has one tiny dimple spot near middle of dial above the 6 by the shaft for the hands.Has 4 small Gemstone markers which I'm guessing are not real diamonds since the watch is not gold.Movement says Elgin U.S.A. 15 Jewels and also has the serial number.I'm selling the watch for repair as it does not run.The watch is wound up all the way so crown won't turn to wind it anymore.When I give the watch a quick twist the balance wheel only spins for a second or two and then it stops so may be something wrong with the balance wheel.Movement looks nice and clean and complete but will need some servicing to get it to run.The crown does pull out and sets the hands nicely.It's such a nice looking case it's a great candidate for repair.If buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund on all watches I sell.
