Up for auction this rare vintage Bulova Accutron wristwatch, in a heavy solid 14K gold beautiful asymmetrical-shaped two-piece case, manufactured in 1960's, coming in excellent original condition.The watch is powered by a genuine Bulova Accutron tuning fork electronic movement, that is running strong and accurate. The watch has been just fully serviced and overhauled, with a fresh battery installed.The Bulova Accutron is to be a mechanical-electronic watch. The secret behind its inhere...nt accuracy is a tuning fork which divides each second into hundreds of equal parts. The second's hand is moving smoothly, like in modern automatic watches, not jumping like in quartz watches.The watch sports a classic-looking original silver-color dial with original luminous-filled hands and applied gold hour markings, that is in clean mint condition.This collectible timepiece would be an excellent financial investment, always raising its value.
