Absolutely gorgeous antique French Empire walnut and mahogany base pedestal side table with inset green marble top and an array of ormolu mounts, circa 1860. Brilliant patina! Table is very heavy and sturdy Sensational form featuring round top with inset marble encircled with mahogany veneer and ormolu embellishments supported by a fluted and reeded pedestal raised on four exquisite carved ...legs heavily adorned with ormolu mounts. Finest construction with large threaded rod attaching top to base. Exceptional antique French Empire marble top side table will add elegance and charm to any space with most any décor!!!Please note: Table will ship in 2 parcels.Dimensions: Table measures 30" high with 22" diameter. Marble is 18-3/4" diameter and 3/4" thick. 16" square at feet. Weight is approximately 50 lbs.Condition: In excellent antique condition with light normal wear from age and use. Superb patina! Table is very heavy and sturdy. Marble is excellent without cracks or chips. Some wear to all surfaces including minor scuffs and dings. Some cracks and lifting to veneer. Split in wood at column.
