Presented by me, Hu Yicheng, imitating the style of Shi Xi Base: Characters:公司 Pinyin: gong si Provenance: East Memphis estate. Dimensions: 4.75ʺ diameter × 11ʺH Perio...d: Republic, design typical between about 1910-1920 Place of Origin: China. Materials: Porcelain. Condition: Enamel in Good Original Condition as shown, loss of gilt, small chip/loss of enamel at rim, faint lineal surface crack as shown and base drilled for a lamp. Comment: very good color and composition. Art Subject: figures. Related: one of a set of four hat stands.
