$20 BU Morgan {{ CARSON CITY }} Silver Dollar Roll, Fr: BULLION & EXCHANGE BANK
Item History & Price
Held in a private family collectionfor decades.
Morgan Dollar Roll from theBULLION & EXCHANGE BANKCarson City Nevada
Wild History on this historic roll, including how and why it came to be,
pushing one FAR past its intriguing existence.
*YES* ON ONE END OF THE ROLLCLEARLY SHOWS THECARSON CITY MINT MARK, OBVERSE ON THE OTHER?DATE OF 1890, NO IDEA ON THAT MINT LOCATIONAS WELL AS THE REMAINING18 DOLLARS WITHIN.
To think that a century has gone by skipping past the ...temptation to BUST this roll open to discover the hidden treasures inside, in a way?I guess that's what makes this roll so intriguing.
I make no guarantee on the hidden contents inside past higher-end Morgan dollars simply because
they are all hidden.
Might they all be Carson City? Doubtful, But yet?Maybe a few more than just a hand full? Possible..Nothing but junk in-between? Highly unlikely..
One thing I can guarantee:The 9 page history {included} on the bank itselfbecomes a story on its own merit.
The Bank acted as clearing house for other banks in Nevada for bullion, coins and checks.
How this small hoard was discovered:When the bank was razed, a cache of early bank items was discovered by workmen which was later sold at public auction in the 1970's with the bulk of the discovery becoming purchased by ONE major collector. One of the reason's why these rolls are so hard to {not only find}, but to purchase,
Right to return if not 100% satisfied.YES, I will accept returns if you think
this is some sort of scam, as long as.PAY ATTENTION NOW, THIS IS IMPORTANT.The roll must be returned FULLY intact with NO evidence of tampering, after all. That's were you find the value, its in the unopened roll itself.
Thanks, Graded Toners
