Vintage Linemar Yelow Cab Taxi J-445 Tin Car Japan Battery Op Remote Control in Original Box
Vintage Original Tin Taxi with realistic detail.Red Taxi light on roof, White hubcaps, Black rubber tires, White litho yellow cab signs on doors, hood ornament, Chrome grill, chrome headlights, chrome bumper/taillights, litho license plate "27529", detailed litho dashboard and light blue interior. Tin LithographMade by Linemar, Japan (Logo on bottom and on box lid.)Clean battery compart...ment with insert. Some signs of use inside compartment (rubs/scratches), but overall clean. Tested, but not currently working? Battery Operated Mechanism may be loose & needs repair. Remote wire connecting remote to car seems a bit dry/stiff from age, so may need replacement. Did not attempt repair. We will leave that to expertise of winning bidder. Box indicates actions should be light and siren. Taxi Light on Roof wired with bulb but does not light up and horn sound does not work! Absolutely beautiful realistic yellow cab toy with lots of detail to display in any collection! Great nostalgic graphics on box, as pictured.Approx. 7.5" long.
Condition: Beautiful brightly colored original vintage tin toy taxi in overall excellent condition with a few light surface scratches/nicks as pictured. Clean battery compartment with original insert and light rubs/surface scratches., Tested, but actions not working, so mechanism needs repair & being sold "as is/ not working/ needs repair". Beautifully realistic detailed piece to display! Wonderful nostalgic graphics on box!
