Vintage Sasha Morgenthaler Doll from the first owner family.
This doll was made by the aunt of the sellers mother in a course in the 1950's in Zurich, Switzerland. The head and the wig was made by Sasha Morgenthaler while the bodies had been made by the students under the supervision of the Artist.
Sasha Morgenthaler also handpainted the faces.
These are very rare, early dolls. They was not signed as my research on the internet showed. Measures 20 inches / 50cm....
The head can be turned to the left and right side. The arms are fixed. The legs are moving, it seems to be wood (but i can not confirm because its under the tissue).
