DescriptionThis beautiful rare French "cheater" Quilt was printed in the 19th century. These type of prints were imitating hand made quilts and thus were referred to as " cheater" quilts. This amazing fabric was printed to look like three dimensional block! showing the dept of each block ! truly amazing ! The colors are dark brown, off white, creme, blue, soft grey and camel

ConditionThis is an early 19th century fabric. The fabric is brittle and is of chintz.There are breaks in the fabric in numerous places.Not for sewing, but for the serious collectors or for study or for framing
