Here's a terrific autographed index card of Classic Hollywood Actress Madge Bellamy. The index card measures 3" x 5" and is inscribed "Dear Mayburn Will send photo later Regards Madge Bellamy" . Mrs Bellamy dated the card April 1, 1970 at the top. This was once affixed inside a scrapbook and does show some edge and surface wear. It's also yellowing from age around the edges. You can easily trim the signature if you like. This came from the Collection of The Late Miss Mayburn Reed (1911...-1979) who was a long time friend of many stars. She was a Hollywood fan, archivist, fan club director and historian. She amassed a huge collection in scrapbooks but the previous owner of these removed them . Please read below "About This Collection" completely before purchasing. Please use the photos attached as they will your best source of condition. This would make a wonderful addition to your classic movie collection.
ABOUT THIS COLLECTION.....As I mentioned above this is from the collection of Miss Mayburn Reed. I obtained her entire collection recently. The last owner of the collection removed everything from Miss Reed's scrapbooks and then left them in his basement. The collection gained a bit of a musty odor. I have done my best using both open air and dryer sheets to remove any odor. What you currently may smell is the fresh smell of the dryer sheets but a few you may still detect a bit of the musty odor. This lady put her heart and soul into this collection and I'm just trying to get these to good Homes rather than sit in a basement .
