Offering an antique Etruscan majolica butter pat in the "Shell and Seaweed" pattern. Produced in PA by the Griffin, Smith & Hill Company. The shell and seaweed pattern in pink became their most popular pattern. They made many different forms in it and all are highly sought after by majolica collectors. Not signed. There is a narrow chip on the edge and nicks to the underside edge. Measures 3" in diameter. Please see photographs as they are part of the description.
