The 1881 Half Dollar was a very low mintage issue, with a total of only 10, 000 coins made.
This example is a high-end AU (probably 58) coin that was cleaned (rather lightly) a very long time ago (a number of decades, I would judge.) She has since re-toned in a rather attractive way and can now boast excellent eye-appeal.
