The white porcelain enamel dial is in excellent ...condition with no chips or cracks. Common with early Waltham watches, the dial is unsigned and features black roman numerals for hours. The blued steel spade and whip hands are in very good condition with some minor discoloration towards the end of the minute hand.
The heavy coin silver hunting case, signed Am. Watch Co. Waltham Mass., is in great condition with only light scuffs and scratches to the exterior and no dents or dings. Case lid springs open strong when the pusher on the pendant is depressed. Inside of case lid features a nice engraved pattern and is marked as warranted coin silver. Bezel is secure when closed but opens easily to set the time. Case back lid and cuvette also close securely and open easily for access to the winding post. All hinges are in excellent condition with minimal play. Bow is tight to the pendant and in very good condition. Excluding the pendant, case measures 60.9 mm across. As a whole the watch weighs 235 grams. The mineral glass crystal is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
