Up for auction is an 18 Size Waltham Pocket Watch S/N 121847. William Ellery being sold as is as a project watch. It has not been serviced and does not run. The movement-according to the book it’s either a 7 or 11 jewel movement. I have not had it apart so I can’t say. The staff is good but the watch doesn’t run. I’ve tried to wind it but something slips. If I put pressure on the center wheel it starts to run. The plates show it’s age but don’t look terrible except for the ...scratch which runs through “William Ellery Boston, Mass. There is rust on some of the steel parts. The Dial is in great condition. The hands are good but probably not original. The case is in ok condition and appears to be original in that there are no extra case screw marks. It is marked “Warrented Coin Silver *90”. There are couple of dents in the back cover and the front cover is slightly oversprung. The push button and bow are missing. Clearly a project watch for some hearty soul.
