Vintage silver Illinois pocket watch ornately engraved on backside and edges.
Inside back cover reads: Star Watch Case Co. Scepter. The numbers 6702337 in a “v” shape under Scepter. Across the surface in various spots are lightly scratched or engraved numbers: a501 a3802 6352
Interior mechanism is marked with: Springfield Illinois Watch Co. 17 jewels 4609322Because of its shine it was difficult to get a photo without any reflections in the case. The finish is in very good co...ndition. Edges are ornately scrolled. Stem is ornate. Cover comes on/off smoothly. Face of watch is lightly soiled on the face under the glass. Glass is not scratched. NOTE: Stem does not turn. Watch does NOT run.
