The time has come for me to sell my huge, wonderful Dawn collection. I hope the new owners will enjoy them as much as I did. Please check back often to see what I have listed.
This is the 1972 Topper Kip Majorette. There are two UNUSUAL or RARE things about this boxed doll. I love unusual! Her hat has a WHITE feather, instead of the usual pink, blue or orange. I've never seen another hat with a white feather (doesn't mean maybe you ...haven't). Her hat and boots are silver trimmed. The box Kip is in is VERY strange and unusual. The left side and the top of the box are not colored yellow - the background is instead white. So the box is two toned instead of one. I guess the factory ran out of yellow coloring. Other than the odd coloring, the box is in excellent vintage condition. Kip is firmly attached to the box and in mint condition. Oh WOW! I just noticed another box blooper! The inside of the box doesn't match. The two sides are scenes from a football game, which is the correct background packaging for Kip. BUT, the middle insert that Kip is attached to is from the circus scene from Connie's box. If I keep looking, I might find something else, or decide not to sell this doll.
