Original Description:
Antique early-mid 1800's hand carved angry birds jewelry or trinket box. Finely carved with excellent detail throughout. This thing is really old but remains in good condition. There is a small piece off of one of the back feet but the box still stands straight and solid. the bird with the sread wings might have a little chip off the tip of one wing.The lid hinge was glued to the lid at some point but looks to have had screws originally. Measuring across the base the box is 5" x 3" and... it is 4" height to the tip of the birds spread wing. Original lining on interior is tattered. No key. Nice old box with a great look. Enlarge all pics for best details. Starts low with no reserve.
