You are bidding on AN ANTIQUE WATCH MOVEMENT, BELIEVE "MODEL 1872" MADE BY AMERICAN WATCH COMPANY WALTHAM....BELIEVE MADE AROUND 1886....AND IT RUNSTHIS CAME OUT OF A WATCH REPAIR ESTATE....BEEN CAREFULLY STORED IN THE BOX YOU SEE IN PICTURES....I GENTLY WOUND IT, AND IMMEDIATELY IT BEGAN RUNNING......(was told all ready to put in a case)....I am not a watch expert....but, going online and looking up this serial number 2762083.....it shows this to be a MODEL 1872, SIZE 16s. 15 jewel mo...vement, likely manufactured in the 1886-1887 era. It is in nice condition, and with one tiny wind, it runs briskly.
