Thanks for viewing my auction for a first edition Skipper doll, Barbie's little sister. This is the hard to find titian, or red haired skipper doll. Wow, this doll's hair is just so silky and shiny and she is in really excellent condition too!
Skipper's face paint is quite nice overall. She does have some paint loss on the ends of the eyebrows and possibly on her lower lip. There are no nips, stains, pinpricks or bite marks anywhere on her face or body.
Her body is very tig...ht and clean! As you can see she has no issue holding positions. I don't think this doll was played with very much based on her condition.
She wears her original red and white striped swimsuit which may be missing the skipper tag, if indeed it came with one. Not sure on that part. In excellent condition. Nice and tight, no loose threads or stains or odors.
SKIPPER 1963 Mattel Inc. mark. as a first edition would have.
