This auction is for a 1955 Madame Alexander straight leg walker Wendy or Alex-Kin Amy Little Women doll that is in good condition. Although she is a walker doll, the mechanism does allow her head to turn but her legs just somewhat move. The hard plastic body of the doll is in very good condition with no splits, cracks, or stains. She has nice dark sleep eyes that move freely, pretty rosy cheeks, and perfect painted lips. This little... beauty has a dark blond or tosca, triple stitched wig that is styled in original coiffure and includes its original pink hair bow.
This precious doll wears her original tagged dress that is very nice condition. There are no holes, rips, stains, etc., in the fabric of the clothing. Amy also wears her full white slip and pantaloons; the slip has reinforced elastic and the pantaloons have been reinforced at the waist with a small thread. Neither the slip or the pantaloons have any holes or tears but the pantaloons have a stain on the upper back. Amy also has on side snap shoes and white socks.
The doll does not come with a stand or box.
