Vintage Furga Blonde Simona Doll, Alta Moda 17" Italy, Original Turquoise Dress . Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Has been in my possession since childhood. Really good condition, slight discoloration on legs and arms and dress from age. Slight pilling of fabric, snap on the back needs mending to re-attach. Stamped on back of neck and upper back Furga Italy. A little TLC would make her near perfect. True story, my Simona shared the stage briefly with none... other than Bono of U2 in the early 90's! Two photographer friends used Simona in a rock video contest, which they won. The winner got to attend the U2 concert near Washington, DC for free and go back stage. My friend took Simona to the concert and threw her on stage where she was briefly held by Bono. My friend was able to retrieve Simona and bring her home to me-thankfully. I still have one of the letters he put on her dress which I will include with the purchase-a "U". I am downsizing, so time for Simona to get adopted by someone who will appreciate her!
