Vintage L.E. Smith
Amber Crackled (By Cracky) Luncheon PlateProduced from 1927-1930
An awesome piece from the past that looks like some of the new glassware of today.
This piece started out as a luncheon set - the plate plus a sherbet bowl that sat in it. However, the sherbet bowl is not included in this listing.
L.E. Smith was futuristic in their vision when they created the By Cracky crackled glass, in the shape of a clover. The beautiful amber color of this depress...ion glass piece is fabulous. This luncheon plate is 10 1/8 inches long and 8 inches wide. It includes 3 sections plus a thumbprint type section for carrying this piece. It would be perfect as a candy dish, trinket dish or condiment dish along with so many possibilities. As you can see in the photos, it would even look good just on display. This is heavy piece of depression glass. It weighs 1 pound by itself, without packaging.
There are no cracks, chips, scratches, damages/flaws or repairs to this piece. There are no flea bites or air bubbles that we could find. There is a black speck, within the glass, that is in the glass and occurred at the time of production.
Please closely examine the photos, for the piece(s) you are interested in purchasing. This is part of the description itself.
