antique folk tramp art bark bottle flask hand made. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. I am selling my wondrous collection of bark bottles. They are an interesting tramp art phenomenon. Hand made, the crafter used a mixture of wood/resin... sometimes clay...sometimes substance unknown:) and surrounded a bottle to make it look like it is made of wood.Clearly these functioned as flasks. They are early 20th century. I think I may have the curious distinction of owning the best collection in... the country but as there is very little literature on them, I can't verify this.There are cracks in this one but the bark surround still seems to be fairly secure.
